Razer Introduces First Blade 15 Series Laptop Workstation with NVIDIA Quadro RTX 5000
Although famous for acting in the gamer segment, Razer has also invested in the corporate sector. Now the company has introduced a new workstation laptop: the Blade 15 Studio Edition.
It is the first of its kind in the notebook series and aims to be an even more powerful version than the Blade 15 Advanced in performance – and more expensive. Check out the product highlights below:
Weighing just 0.25 kg more than the Advanced version, the Blade 15 Studio Edition features a 15.6-inch OLED touch screen with 4K resolution. The display also uses a DCI-P3 color gamut used in the digital cinema instead of sRGB.
In its technical specifications, the main feature is the presence of the NVIDIA Quadro RTX 5000 graphics card – which doubles the amount of GeForce RTX 2080 VRAM – designed for visual effects applications. The workstation also comes with the Intel Core i7-9750H processor, 32 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage per SSD.
In their connectivity, there is a Thunderbolt 3 port, three USB Type-A 3.2 (Gen 2), one DisplayPort and one HDMI 2.0b. Also new is the presence of a UHS-III card reader, which supports speeds up to 624 MB / s.
The arrival of Razer’s new workstation makes it part of NVIDIA’s RTX Studio program. There are currently only 17 laptops on the chip maker’s initiative list.
The qualified machines, in addition to having the brand graphics, also have Studio drivers, focused more on stability than speed.
Price And Availability
Razer Blade 15 Studio Edition can now be purchased through the brand’s official website in the international market. The company’s portable workstation is available for US$ 3.999,99.
