Not Only Mate 30 series, Huawei Mate X Also Confirmed Will Not Carry Google Services

A few days ago, Huawei sent an invitation letter to a number of media to finalize the Mate 30 series conference in Munich, Germany on September 19. Since last month, there has been a lot of news that the Mate 30 series will be launched without Google services and applications, and today there are new sources confirmed that the upcoming foldable mobile phone Mate X will also adopt the same strategy.

Citing The Nikkei Asian Review, Huawei upcoming Mate 30, Mate 30 Pro and foldable phone Mate X will not carry any Google apps and services. This means that these flagship phones don’t have Play Store, Chrome, Gmail, YouTube and Google Maps.

There are many third parties applications that rely on Google to run, which means that many programs will not be available. Even Mate 30, Mate 30 Pro and Mate X are still running Android, but they are based on the AOSP version, not the version that used to be equipped with Play services.
