If you’re used to taking a screenshot with a home button on your old iPhone, do not worry, there’s a new way to do this in your iPhone XS. If you want to know how to take a screenshot, continue with the following steps.
How to take a screenshot on your iPhone XS
- Prepare the screen or app screen you want to scan.
- Hold the button pressed side button (the big button on the right) of your iPhone XS.
- Press and hold the side button at the same time.
- As soon as the screen blinks white and the camera produces a shutter sound, you know that the screenshot was successful. If your phone is set to mute, you will not hear a trigger sound.
How to edit a screenshot in iPhone XS
Your screenshot disappears automatically in a few moments if you do not discard it by swiping to the left. The saved image then remains in your camera roll. You can tap the screenshot to edit it.
If you want to edit the screenshot right after shooting, be careful not to swipe it to the left. If you tap on the image, you can crop or enlarge it. You can also use different marking colors.
