Google: Huawei Mate 30 Can Use Android But Can’t Use Google Apps

According to The Verge reports, Huawei‘s new flagship phone Mate 30 may face a big problem – it will not be able to carry Google’s applications and services. It will still run Android, Android is open source software, and vendors can get it for free.

But Google has confirmed to the Verge that Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro will not be able to carry Google’s apps and services. Given the importance of Google’s apps, this could put these two phones at a big disadvantage.

Google’s apps and services are considered an important part of the Android operating system. The only real success story for Android devices without Google services is Amazon’s low-cost Fire tablet, which is very different from Mate 30. The Mate 30 is a flagship device that competes with Galaxy Note 10 Plus, Pixel 4 and OnePlus 7 Pro.
