AMD releases product roadmap Zen 3 has been designed
This year, AMD is significantly active, especially in terms of CPU. The Ryzen 3000 series processor launched some time ago has already gained good sales and reputation. Today AMD has released a roadmap for future products, including CPUs and GPUs.
As can be seen from the CPU roadmap, the Zen 2 architecture will usher in the Zen 3 architecture, and the Zen 3 architecture has been designed. Zen 3 will use the 7nm+ process and is expected to be a small upgrade to the Zen 2 architecture. Though Zen 4 architecture is in the designing process.
As can be seen from the GPU roadmap, the RDNA is followed by RDNA2, which means that the GCN architecture era has passed. RDNA2 will use the 7nm+ process and is expected to debut in the same year as Zen 3. At present, there are not many products based on the RDNA architecture, only the RX 5700/5700 XT, and more products are expected to appear in the fourth quarter of this year.
